Inkdeath (Inkheart, #3) by Cornelia Funke
There is a reason people love to read. And Cornelia Funke manages to tap into that reason with each book in the Inkheart trilogy. The perfection of these novels cannot be understated; they enthrall the reader, bringing her into a world that she comes to believe is as real as the characters in the novel think it is. These characters, like those in the Inkworld, are not made of paper. They are flesh and blood; the reader will react appropriately, cheering their triumphs and weeping for their losses. These books will be near and dear to my heart until the day I die. All lovers of words and books, adventure and love, and friendship and sorrow should read Inkheart and its sequels. They are truly a miracle of storytelling.
