Identical by Ellen Hopkins
Hopkins never shies away from tough issues, and Identical is no exception. Sexual abuse, drug abuse, cutting, and eating disorders all appear. While difficult to read, Hopkins’s prose is beautiful to read. This wasn’t my favorite book by Hopkins, if only because I guessed the end pretty early on. However, I the read to be compelling and sad. This is another book that will resonate with teens and adults alike.
